The Dominican Republic shares the island of Hispanola with Haiti near the island of Cuba in the Caribbean. Higuey is located near the coast on the eastern side of the island with a population of around 100,000. Over our seven-year partnership in the Dominican Republic, we have helped construct four churches, conduct a VBS program, and helped to start a pastor training center. Pastor Rafael and his church have started four other churches in the area of Higuey over the last 10 years. North Point is excited to be a part of what God is doing in the Dominican Republic.
